Flashback Friday
In less than a month my precious girl will be a year old!! It's so hard to believe! The year just disappeared before my eyes! In so many ways, I'm so thankful that she is at the point she is now: interactive, affectionate, on the go, learning new things everyday. But every once in a while, I get a little twinge of longing for those newborn days of soft sweetness, and I think, where did the time go? In looking forward to her first birthday, here are some of my favorite pictures of her during her first few weeks.......

I forgot to email you the elmo cupcakes. all i did was use a "fur" like tip to put the red icing onto the cake. by the way, it takes a lot of red food coloring to get white icing red. after i iced the cupcakes, i put them into the fridge to get a bit hardened. during that time, i dyed mini marshmallows orange with food coloring to create elmo's nose. after the red icing hardened, i used mini white marshmallows to place on top and used leftover white icing to smear on top of the mini marshmallows to hold a mini chocolate m&m....icing is the best glue. then i used mini m&m's to create a smile instead of getting fancy with black food coloring. sorry it took me so long to respond. enjoy.
