I'm getting to be such a big girl!

The greatest invention ever...

Not just an ordinary hair dryer..... Caroline's mommy and daddy have discovered it's the greatest baby calming device ever invented!! Caroline loves the "white noise" of the hair dryer. She can be so upset, then calms instantly once it's turned on. Too funny! Seriously, I'm thinking of getting the girl one of her own.

Three Weeks Old!!

Caroline is now three weeks old! This past week she met two of her three great-grandmothers. Caroline says to tell her Big Nannie in Greenville that she is sorry she lives so far away but she is looking forward to meeting her soon too! Here are some pictures of the last week: I had my first tub bath this week.... as you can see, I did not like it so much! I like to look at my pretty face in the mirror! Kicking around on the floor is my favorite thing to do!

Caroline is Two Weeks Old!

It's hard to believe that Caroline is two weeks old! Sometimes it seems to us that she's been here forever- already it's hard for us to imagine life without her! Here are some highlights from the past two weeks. She has had her first doctors visits for weight checks- she was 5 lbs 13 oz the Sunday after she was born, and then 6 lbs 1 oz three days later. As of today she is 6 lbs 5 oz- back to birth weight. Still a petite little girl, but we're headed in the right direction! Our Kids Path nurse friends have been nice enough to come by and weigh her when I want them to. I'm trying to convince them to just add her to the Kids Path census (smile)....knowing I have pediatric nurses I can call for advice and reassurance when I need it has been so wonderful! Caroline has had lots of visits from special family and friends and she is a well loved little girl! Zack and I are having so much fun getting to know her and she is already developing a little personality. She is such a sweet, sweet baby and just seems so curious and bright. She fixes her gaze right to our eyes and just melts us. She even smiles when she's content. She's really strong and is already rolling from her back to her side believe it or not and has great head control for such a little one. She loves her paci (thank goodness) and loves to be held and cuddled. She's got such an expressive face and sometimes scrunches her little eyebrows into such a worried little look, as if to say, "what is about to happen now?" We are just thoroughly enjoying every second with her. Here are some pictures from the past two weeks: Oh, and Caroline says Happy Birthday to my Daddy!!
