15 weeks

Time is passing quickly! We are now 15 weeks into the pregnancy and things are looking good. Our last appointment was the 4th of January and we got to hear the heartbeat for the first time. Very exciting! Scroll to the bottom of this post and type the link below into your browser to hear our little one's heartbeat for yourself! Our "big" ultrasound is scheduled for January 29th. If the little one cooperates, hopefully we will know if we are having a "he" or a "she." This will be nice because Zack and I are tired of referring to the baby as "it" (smile). Zack informed the doctor that the baby would be cooperating for sure as he had already told the baby how important this is! Actually, he does talk to the baby through my belly quite a bit which is pretty cute. He's one proud daddy to be! Some interesting baby facts: Our baby is about 4 inches long now, and weighs about 2 1/2 ounces. The body is growing faster now to catch up with the growth of the head. The baby can move his/her arms and legs, and even suck his thumb! Toenails and fingernails are beginning to grow, as well as eyebrows and hair. The baby's eyelids remain shut, but the eyes are sensitive enough that the baby will move away from bright light shone directly at the womb. Amazing! We are so thankful to God for our little miracle! http://vudyo.com/view_video.php?viewkey=01f21364d052ca0e c798
